Walnut Cake


– 10 ounces of wholemeal flour.
– 8 ounces of walnut pieces.
– 4 ounces of sugar.
– 1 cup of milk.
– ½ cup of cooking oil.
– 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda.
– One lemon’s worth of freshly-squeezed lemon juice.


– Mix together all of dry ingredients.

– Add the milk and oil and mix thoroughly.

– Add the lemon juice.

– Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 30 minutes.

– Serve as desired.
